Award-winning poet Philip Levine
This week’s show featured a lecture by award-winning poet Philip Levine who was introduced by the Director of the Boston University’s Graduate Creating Writing program, Leslie Epstein.
Levine has earned nearly every major prize available to an American poet, including: the Pulitzer Prize, the National Book Award, the National Book Critics Circle Award, and the Lenore Marshall Poetry Prize. He is the author of sixteen books of poetry including: “The Mercy,” “The Simple Truth,” and “Ashes: Poems New And Old.”
