Geoffrey Hill brings the fire here. Things are at just such an amazing pitch from at least the Hopkins poem on, people are afraid to breathe almost, poetry performed can do certain things to an audience that other forms don't. I've listened to this many times now. Jon Westling makes really difficult choices in poems but someone needed to read De Jure Belli ac Pacis and he does not stumble. Thanks for this.
