Slavoj Zizek On Antinomies of Tolerant Reason

This show featured a a lecture titled "Fear Thy Neighbor as Thyself: Antinomies of Tolerant Reason" that was sponsored by the Institute for the Human Sciences at Boston University.

The lecture was delivered by Slovenian postmodern philosopher, cultural critic and sociologist Slavoj Zizek. He was introduced by Boston University Professor Jeffrey Mehlman.

Zizek has published over a dozen books and numerous philosophical and political articles. Currently he is a returning faculty member of the European Graduate School, Switzerland, and founder and president of the Society for Theoretical Psychoanalysis in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
