This week’s show featured a lecture presented by the Elie Wiesel Center for Judaic Studies at Boston University.

Titled “Ethiopian Israelis: The Remarkable Unfinished Exodus of the Ethiopian Jews,” the lecture was delivered by Dr. Len Lyons.

Dr. Lyons is the author of six books, most recently “The Ethiopian Jews of Israel: Personal Stories of Life in the Promised Land.” He became fascinated with the story of the Ethiopian Jews and their struggle for acceptance, through his hosting of Ethiopian Israeli students visiting Boston in 2004. He currently serves on the Ethiopian Jewry Committee of the Jewish Community Relations Council of Boston.
